Alice is a registered Acupuncturist and doctor of Chinese medicine. She has been practicing acupuncture and chinese herbs since 2009, and shiatsu bodywork since 2001.
She provides a safe space for you to rest, relax and heal while discussing your health concerns. Alice takes time to understand and address your health concerns. Together we work out an individualised treatment plan for you
She uses techniques to reset the nervous system so it is able to focus on healing. Alice looks at body alignment and body movement to ensure the flow of Qi and blood circulated smoothly around the body.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) does not only look at the main symptom bothering you. It takes into account the larger picture of your health and how different factors may be influencing the way you feel.
Conversation: Your first session begins with a conversation about your health concerns, health history, lifestyle, what you’ve already tried and what you hope to accomplish.
Evaluate: Alice may examine the area bothering you, or take you through some range of movement stretches. Traditional assessment methods like looking at your tongue and feeling your pulse may be used as well.
By taking the time to understand your complete experience, Alice will create a treatment plan based on your individual needs and goals.
Acupuncture: fine, sterile, single use acupuncture pins are gently placed at carefully selected points. You will rest comfortably while the needles do their work.
Individualised care: Your recommended treatment plan depends on your condition, how long it has been present, its severity, your overall health, and how you respond to the acupuncture session.
Some people respond quickly, and notice changes quickly Their treatment plan may be 4-6 sessions.
Others have more long-standing, chronic or complex health concerns which may require a more consistent course of sessions. their treatment plan may be 10+ sessions.
As your healing progresses, Alice will be monitoring your progress, discuss what is changing and adjust your treatment plan as your heal needs evolve.
You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within 1-2 business days. Please note the clinic opening hours and days (as Thursdays and Saturdays clinic days alternate each week.).
Email or SMS is preferred as Alice is unable to answer the phone while she is in session with clients.
